Asst. Secretary (IT)
Md. Alamgir Hossain is an Assistant Secretary (IT) at the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BKMEA), with over 6.5 years of dedicated service in strengthening the association’s IT infrastructure, data systems, and digital governance. Since joining BKMEA in 2019, he has played a key role in managing and improving multiple enterprise-level systems, including the BKMEA ERP (HR, Payroll, Procurement, Inventory, Meeting Management), UD Software, Worker Biometric Database, and Member Management platforms.
He leads payroll data analysis within the ERP system, oversees integration of biometric attendance devices, and develops analytical dashboards and reports to support organizational decision-making. Alamgir has also actively contributed to various national and international projects under BKMEA in collaboration with ILO, UNICEF, GIZ, EU, and Swiss Contact, serving as Program Officer, Data Management Officer, Focal Person, and Master Trainer across diverse initiatives.
Throughout his journey at BKMEA, he has been deeply involved in system enhancements, vendor coordination, technical training for staff, and ensuring reliable IT support across departments.
He is a Certified Lead Implementor of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and a Certified GRI Professional, further strengthening his expertise in information security management and sustainability reporting.
