Objectives:

• Improving the compliance status of the 75 BKMEA member factories through the assessment, training, advisory, adoption of best practices and innovation.
• Enhancing the knowledge and efficiency of the factory personnel through capacity building and training programs.

Description:

• Providing assessment, training, advisory and backstopping services to 75 BKMEA member factories in Dhaka, Narayanganj and Chattogram to improve compliance in the areas of Mental Health (Psychosocial Hazard), Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Waste Management.
• Improving knowledge and capacity of the factory personnel (Compliance, HR, and Welfare Officers) as well as the member of Factory Committees (workers, supervisors and mid-level management) of the participating factories on above issues.
• Improving knowledge and capacity of the relevant officials of BKMEA Compliance Cell and OSH unit on the above areas.

Achievements:

Mental Health awareness, OSH and Waste management has developed in 75 BKMEA member factories.
